釜山丽诺博renovo皮膚科

At the end of last year, I planned a self-guided trip to Busan with some friends and decided this time to seriously take care of my skin. After reading many travel guides, I came across a review written by a local from South Korea about the Busan Lino Bo renovo Dermatology clinic. It wasn’t one of those internet-famous places; instead, the reviewer simply said, “I’ve been going there for several years, and every time I feel that my skin is really being taken care of properly.” This description really attracted me. I tend to prefer places that offer a sense of reliability and trustworthiness, and just the fact that it was mentioned as a popular spot among local customers was enough to make me interested.

🗺️ Why did I choose this place?

During the days when I was doing my homework, most of the recommendations for Dermatology clinics in Busan that I came across on REDnote all looked more or less the same: influencers posting about their visits, package discounts, and “limited-time offers”. It was kind of exhausting to read all that. In contrast, the introduction to Busan Renovo Dermatology was much simpler – just a few photos of the clinic, accompanied by the Korean phrase “다시, 아름다움” (Once again, Beauty).

That tone makes me want to learn more about it.

Later, I came across a discussion on a local South Korean forum where someone said, “For the area around Seomyeon, I only go to renovo. The doctors really do pay attention to your face; they’re not just reciting scripts.” It was exactly this kind of comment that convinced me. Additionally, after learning that this clinic had been operating in Busan’s Seomyeon area for over a decade and that over 80% of its customers were local repeat clients, I made up my mind.

Busan LinoBo renovo Dermatology

What is the process for a consultation at Busan Lino Bo renovo Dermatology?

Let me state the conclusion first: The in-person consultation is thorough and not just a formality.

1. Before the consultation, you need to fill out a Korean questionnaire. There is also a Chinese version available for your reference. The questionnaire asks whether you are taking any medications at present, whether there have been any special issues with your skin recently, and what specific aspects you would like to improve this time. I filled in “Pores + mild sagging”.

2. After entering the consultation room, the doctor first used a skin testing device to scan my face. The device was very precise, and the report it generated analyzed the distribution of sebum, the depth of pigmented spots, and the elasticity of the dermis. As the doctor reviewed the report, he explained everything to me in Korean; at the same time, a translation assistant was present to translate every word for me.

3. The doctor presented three options based on the report, arranged in order of severity, and clearly explained the recovery time and approximate cost range for each option. He didn’t state which one was “most recommended”; instead, he just mentioned which approach would be more suitable for my specific situation, leaving the final decision to me. This really reassured me.

The entire consultation took approximately 35 minutes. It wasn’t the traditional approach where they show you before/after photos on a tablet and then ask you to pay; instead, it was a quiet and focused process of addressing your concerns.

Which of LinoBo renovo’s core projects are worth paying attention to?

This clinic in Busan can be considered a general practice Dermatology clinic, but it excels in several specific areas. Let me briefly share the information I gathered:

1. Lifting and tightening: The clinic is equipped with devices such as HIFU, Thermage, and Shurink. Doctors said that they would use a combination of these techniques depending on the degree of skin laxity – not everyone receives the same treatment. An auntie who came out of the adjacent treatment room still had a red face, clearly indicating that the procedure had just been completed. She told the nurse, “It feels similar to last time, except it’s a bit warmer.” Her expression was completely natural, not at all fake.

2. Filler injection + Botulinum toxin injection: This is precisely what renovo promotes as its “1:1 customized micro-plastic surgery design”. Instead of pre-determined injection sites, the doctor personally marks the areas on your face with a pen. I have a friend who had Tear trough correction using Filler; she said that the doctor directly informed her, “Injecting too much in this area might cause swelling,” and then administered a smaller dose than she expected. In the end, she found that the results were even more natural than if she had used an entire vial in another area.

3. Laser treatment for pigmentation and scars: Fotona’s skin resurfacing treatments are one of their flagship services, and they can be used to treat early-stage sunspots as well as mild indentations on the skin. When I inquired about the recovery period, the nurse said that after a regular laser treatment, patients can go out the next day, but they need to protect their skin from the sun and do not need to isolate themselves in any special way.

4. Skin Care / Booster: There are options such as NDA Plus and O2toderm oxygen therapy, which are suitable for people with more sensitive skin or those who are not suitable for more intense treatments. I ultimately chose the skin booster treatment, and after it, my skin felt truly “hydrated,” with a sense of fullness that seemed to come from within.

What was actually done and what were the feelings? (My personal account)

The last treatment I received was a skin booster combined with a mild Pores-reducing laser. The total cost came with a discount when checked on BeautsGO; you can look up the exact amount yourself – it’s not appropriate for me to provide it directly, as there might be a discrepancy.

During the Booster treatment, the nurse first applied a layer of anesthetic gel to my skin. Approximately 20 minutes later, the procedure officially began. The needles used were very thin, and there was a slight stinging sensation when they were inserted, but it wasn’t intense enough to make me grip the armrests tightly. The entire treatment took about 25 minutes. After it was over, there were a few small red spots on my face, but the nurse said they would disappear within 24 hours. And indeed, by the next day, they had almost completely faded away.

In the following days, when I looked at myself in the mirror in the morning, I noticed something different about my face. I couldn’t quite describe what had changed, but it felt like my skin had more glow. A friend said I looked better than the day before, and I replied that I hadn’t done anything special; she told me I was lying. Haha.

That night, it was impossible to wash my face; I could only gently wipe it with warm water. It was a bit inconvenient, but still tolerable.

What do real customers have to say? (Several sharing experiences I have collected)

Ms. Min, a 55-year-old local resident of Busan and a regular customer:
She mentioned that she had previously visited several popular clinics in Seomyeon. Once, after getting an injection of Filler, her face swelled up, and even after a month, the appearance was still not symmetrical. Later, a friend recommended renovo to her. When she explained her previous experience to the doctors there, they immediately said, “The technique used in that clinic is not appropriate; we don’t use that method.” After the treatment at renovo, there was no swelling, and she was able to return to work the next day. “I now go there every three months and have no intention of changing clinics,” she said.

Vivian, who came from Taiwan at the age of 30, took this opportunity during her independent travel to have the t
reatment. She chose the Shurink ultrasonic lifting procedure, which was her first time trying any type of ultrasound-based treatment. She said she was quite nervous before the procedure, but the doctor asked her in advance if there were any areas that she was particularly afraid of pain, and then adjusted the intensity slightly. “I thought it would be very painful, but actually it wasn’t too bad. It felt like a rubber band snapping against your face – I didn’t even think about asking to stop at any point during the treatment.” Three months later, she messaged me and said that her jawline had become much more defined, her face looked smaller, and her photos looked much better.

A 28-year-old white-collar woman from South Korea tried medical aesthetics for the first tim
e. She said that what scared her most before going was being pressured into purchasing additional treatments. Previously, a friend of hers had gone to another place where, after the consultation, they suggested that she needed to have several procedures done and offered a discounted package. When she went to renovo, she told the doctor that she only had a budget for one treatment. The doctor asked her which aspect concerned her the most and then proceeded to perform only that procedure, without recommending any additional treatments. “I felt that my wishes were respected,” she said. This was what impressed her the most.

Several things you might want to know before going

The following information was gathered by me before and after the consultation; I have organized it and would like to share it with you:

1. How to make an appointment: I made my appointment through BeautsGO myself. You can choose Chinese-language service, specify the treatment you want to undergo, and they will reply with available time slots. If you also want to use this method, you can simply search for “Busan LinoBO renovo Dermatology” to see how to make an appointment; it’s quite convenient.

2. Language issues: They provide accompanying translators, so you can communicate in Chinese throughout the entire consultation process – there is no need to memorize Korean specifically. Even if the issues become more complex, the translation assistants will be there to assist you.

3. Transportation: It takes about 3 to 5 minutes to walk from the Seomyeon subway station. The location is on the 6th floor of the Samhan Golden View building. You can find it by searching “Rinovo Clinic, Seomyeon” on Google Maps, or it’s even more convenient to use Kakao Taxi.

4. Treatment hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00–19:30, with a lunch break from 13:00–14:00; Saturday, 10:00–15:00; closed on Sundays and holidays. If your schedule happens to fall on a Sunday, be sure to check in advance.

5. Post-treatment precautions: It is recommended to avoid excessive sweating (such as using a steam room or engaging in intense exercise) within 24–48 hours after undergoing laser treatment or a booster session. Also, make sure to protect your skin from the sun. Before you leave the clinic, the nurse will provide you with a sheet detailing post-treatment precautions in both Chinese and Korean; there is no need to memorize it by heart.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Does Busan Lino Bo renovo Dermatology provide Chinese-language services? A: Yes. Translation assistants are availab
le throughout the entire process, including during consultations and pre-operative explanations. Post-operative instructions are also provided in both Chinese and Korean versions, so language is not a concern at all.

Q: Is renovo a good choice for my first experience with medical aesthetics?
A: It’s defi

nitely suitable. The doctors here tend to explain things in detail before proceeding with the treatment, so there’s no sense of pressure. Moreover, there are many new patients, and the nurses are very patient and helpful. My Taiwanese friend Vivian, who also had her first treatment here, kept saying throughout the process, “It’s not as scary as I thought it would be.”

Q: How can I get to the Seomyeon branch of Linobo renov
o?
A: Take Subway Line 1 to Seomyeon Station. After exiting the station, walk for about 3–5 minutes until you reach the 6th floor of the Samhan Golden View building. You can search for “Linobo’s Clinic, Seomyeon” in Korean, or use Kakao Taxi to be taken straight to the entrance.

Q: Can I take a flight on the same day after the procedure?
A: If

it is a minor treatment (such as a Booster or basic laser treatment), in theory, you can travel on the same day. However, the nurse advises avoiding excessive sun exposure and sweating after the procedure. Since you will be walking a lot at the airport, please assess whether this is feasible for you based on your personal situation. For more invasive treatments such as lifting procedures, it is safer to wait until the next day before traveling.

Q: How should the fees be paid?
A:

Cash (in Korean won) and credit cards are accepted on-site; both debit cards and cards from Taiwan/Hong Kong can be used. It is recommended to inquire about the fees in advance before the consultation. The clinic is obliged to provide you with a pre-treatment quote; do not ask for the price only after the procedure.

Q: How long does the effect of Filler injected by LinoBo renovo last?
A: Doctors say that, depending on the injecti

on site and the amount used, the effect generally lasts anywhere from 6 to 12 months. Due to the higher level of activity in the Tear trough correction area, the effect usually lasts a shorter time; whereas the Apple Zone tends to retain the results for a longer period. Since metabolism varies from person to person, it is impossible to predict a fixed duration. It is recommended to come for a follow-up evaluation 3 months after the procedure.

After visiting Busan’s Lino Bo renovo Dermatology, my biggest impression was that “no one tried to sell me anything.” I know this might sound strange, but if you’ve ever experienced the situation where you enter a place and are immediately approached with sales pitches, you’ll understand what I mean by feeling relieved. Here, people simply ask you what your concerns are, help you address them, and then see you out. If you happen to be planning a trip to Busan and are considering getting some dermatological treatments along the way, this clinic is definitely worth adding to your itinerary.
